Learn to ride the waves with the wind, practice a water sport, and discover the thrill of sailing in the beautiful Sardinian sea while experiencing a new feeling of freedom!
With a basic windsurfing course in Bari Sardo, Ogliastra, you will take your first steps with sail and board and learn to glide over the water with the help of experienced instructors.
You will take lessons in groups of up to 5 students. When booking, you can choose the 2-hour trial course or the full 4-hour course. Get ready for fun on the water!
What we will do
The meeting is on the beach at Planargia in Bari Sardo (NU), where you will be welcomed by theinstructor and introduced to your fellow students (there will be a maximum of five). Everyone will be given thecomplete equipment and we will start with the basics, a bit of wind theory and a test on a simulator on land.
After that, it's into the water! You will start with some balance exercises on the board and then try your first starts and swings, taking advantage of the best conditions for beginners: flat sea and little wind. Throughout the course, the instructor will follow you in the dinghy to give you the commands and support you in navigating.
Depending on the option you choose when booking, 2-hour trial course or full 4-hour course, you will agree with the instructor how many lessons to divide the total number of hours into.
Who it is aimed at
This windsurfing course is open to everyone aged 7 and up. No previous experience is necessary, just the ability to swim.
Other information
This activity takes place from May to September.
After booking, you will agree with the instructor how to divide up the hours of your chosen course, bearing in mind that the times and duration of lessons may be affected by weather and wind conditions.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
