With passion and dedication, after 15 years of experience, my team and I have become a reference point for kitesurfing in Puglia and for water sports in general. Full description
Learn to ride the waves in the direction of the wind, get closer to one of the most popular water sports of all time, and experience the sea from an exciting new perspective: that of windsurfing.
Our experienced instructors will take you on an introductory windsurfing course, starting with wind theory and ending with practical tests of starting and sailing.
You will have 6 hours of lessons to be divided into 4 sessions agreed with the instructor, on the most beautiful beaches in Salento, from Ugento to Gallipoli. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
The windsurfing course consists of 4 sessions of 1 ½ hours each. Lessons will take place individually or in mini-groups of up to 3 people and can be held in Marina di Ugento or Gallipoli. The two locations are only a few kilometres apart and one or the other will be chosen depending on the participant's needs, the instructors' availability and, above all, the wind conditions.
Over the course of the three lessons, a learning programme will be implemented that aims to teach the student the basic techniques of windsurfing, from theory to practice. The basics of recognising winds and currents will be learnt and exercises will be performed on land to immediately acquire correct positions and motor patterns to be replicated in the water.
After the propaedeutic part, you will enter the sea to begin to gain confidence with board and sail, start feeling the waves under your feet and make your first attempts at starting and sailing.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone from 10 years of age. No previous experience is required; it is sufficient to be in good health and have good aquatic skills.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.
This activity is available all year round, subject to instructor availability and weather and wind conditions.
After booking, you will agree with the instructor on the location of the lessons, either Marina di Ugento or Gallipoli, depending on your needs and weather conditions.
Lessons are private and aimed at groups of 1 to 3 participants.
Full equipment is included in the price. After the lesson, you can continue using it at a cost of 35€/hour.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
