Full description
Take a private lesson in basic ice climbing in Andalo (TN ) and learn to climb a real icefall accompanied by an Alpine Guide.
Ice climbing is only practicable during short periods of the year, so what are you waiting for? You will live anexperience more unique than rare by putting into practice the basic ice climbing techniques that you will learn during the 3 and a half hour lesson.
You will discover the most hidden corners of this wonderful area nestled in the Dolomites, surrounded by nature and the beauty that winter has to offer. Get to the top and push your limits!
What we will do
We will meet at 9:00 a.m. in Andalo (TN), where the Alpine Guide will hand over thetechnical equipment forice climbing (included in the participation fee).
After a short introductory briefing we will move, each with our own means, to the climbing site. When we arrive at the site, we will conduct a technical session on basic knots, belaying companions and the correct use of ice axes and crampons.
When we are ready, we will enjoy the most exciting part of the entire course: we will try our first steps on the impressive icefall with the help of the guide and with the aid of a rope and harness.
We will be immersed in this fascinating and lonely environment, shrouded in silence and determined to complete this little big challenge!
Theexclusive activity lasts a total of about 3.5 hours, including transfers.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
