I live in the Trompia Valley, surrounded by snow-capped mountains in winter. It was here that my passion for skiing and ski mountaineering was born. After a trip to Egypt, I discovered kitesurfing; this new interest has declined among the peaks at home in snowkiting. For me, this sport means adrenalin, nature, silence, freedom: a combination of emotions that all explode at the same time.

Full description
Try a new winter sport that is fun, adrenaline-pumping and accessible to everyone. Snowkiting is in fact the 'on snow' version of kitesurfing: propelled by the wind, you move over the white surface with a snowboard or skis, controlling the kite by means of a bar.
Anexciting activity that has already won over a large number of snow-loving athletes. From today you can try it on the Tonale Pass, in the province of Trento, with a private 3-hour basic course held by an expert instructor.
With Snowkite you will whizz across the snow of the Trentino mountains with only the help of the wind, without the need for ski lifts. You will no longer have to endure long waits in line for the chairlift, forget the crowded slopes and use every minute of your time to have fun in freedom!
What we will do
You will meet your instructor on the Tonale Pass, in the province of Trento. The course will alternate theory and practice and will guarantee you maximum fun by passing on useful notions and techniques . You will first get to know the snowkite equipment (provided by the school and included in the participation fee), learning how to handle a small kite, so that you can gain confidence and immediately fall in love with this overwhelming discipline.
The aim of the course is to learn how to control the kite and make your first attempts at pacing. After a series of exercises to get used to holding the correct position, you will hook your boots onto your skis or snowboard and begin to experience the unique sensation of being carried along the mountain slopes by the wind. The instructor's passion and experience will be invaluable in getting you into the sport in the best possible way and in total safety.

Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is suitable for everyone from 10 years old and up. Snowkiting experience is not required, but familiarity with skis or a snowboard is necessary.
Other information
This activity is bookable from January to April and consists of a private one-to-one lesson with an instructor.
The fee also includes the cost of membership of the association andinsurance (compulsory).
Skis, snowboard and helmet (compulsory) are not provided by the school. There are several affiliated shops near the meeting point where it is possible to hire them.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
