Learn (and fall in love) with this aquatic discipline by taking part in our kitesurfing course!
A 2-day experience, which you will spend in the company of an instructor between theoretical lessons on land and practical lessons in the water. At the end of the course you will have learnt the 'body drag' technique and will try your first starts on the board.
Lake Como is ready to be the backdrop to your sporting endeavour!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Dervio (LC). We will be welcomed by theinstructor who will guide us through this basic kitesurfing course!
The experience will be divided as follows
Phase 1: On this first occasion there will be a theoretical lesson introducing us to the world of kitesurfing; the instructor will explain how the kite works, how to read the wind and the experience of flying a kite. We will then move on to the preparation of the equipment: we will learn how to prepare the kite and how to dress it. This first phase will take place on land and will last one and a half hours.
Phase 2: This second phase will take place in the water during which we will learn how to handle the kite: how to take it off and land, how to control its direction and speed, how to recover it in case of need; all this, always with the constant support of theinstructor. This second phase will take place in the water and will last one and a half hours.
Phase3: This last part will take place in the water. We will experiment with "body drag", i.e., we will learn to let ourselves be dragged by the sail, and we will try out the first starts with the board.
At the end of each test in the water, we will return to the dinghy and wait for the other participants to finish: we can watch their exploits or relax in the sun.
We will then return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 6 hours, divided into 2 days (Phase 1 and Phase 2 on the first day, Phase 3 on the second day).
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 18.
A minimum weight of 45 kg is required to participate. Swimming ability is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for first-time kitesurfers.
Other information
Attention! This experience lasts 6 hours divided into 2 days. The second day of the experience is arranged directly with the instructor; it is recommended to carry out the second part within 3 days of the first.
The experience is available from April to September.
There is parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Thestart time of the experience may vary depending on weather and wind conditions at the organiser's discretion. Theend time of the experience may vary depending on the number of participants; the dinghy will be shared with other participants of other water experiences at the same centre.
The water part will be done individually one at a time while the other participants can watch from the boat.
There is a changing room on site with a shower, toilet and lockers for storing personal belongings.
Any accompanying persons will not be able to watch the experience directly, but can enjoy a walk along the lakefront, which has several refreshment areas; there is also a dog area nearby.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
