Enjoy a ride through the Florentine hills to explore the natural environment of Tuscany amidst dirt roads, stunning views and marvellous Renaissance villas.
Ride through vineyards and olive groves that produce exceptional wine and oil. You will have the privilege of tasting them accompanied by typical local products.

What we will do
The meeting point is in the Oltrarno district of Florence at 9.15 am. Here we will be welcomed by the staff and our guide. We will be given our bikes, put on our helmets, and have a short briefing on safety rules and the itinerary we are going to follow.
During the first part of our excursion we will pass through Porta Romana, the only entrance to Florence that is still surrounded by the 13th century walls. Then we will start to climb the first of the day's hills and, after about 700 m, we will reach the top where we can admire Florence from above. We cannot help but take a few photos of the landscapes we will encounter along ancient roads and paths.
Pedal after pedal, we will reach a Renaissance villa and afamily winery where we will be able to taste wine and extra virgin olive oil accompanied by a platter of Tuscan cold cuts. We will also be able to buy their typical products to take home a sustainable, but above all tasty souvenir.
After relaxing, we will get back in the saddle to enjoy the scenery of the Tuscan countryside for a while longer. Before returning to Florence we will pass through a small village, home of Galileo and his observatory. We will stop at Piazzale Michelangelo to enjoy one of the best views of Florence, and then finish our descent towards the city centre. If we make it in time, the guides will accompany us to our last stop... the city's favourite ice cream parlour !
The total duration of the excursion is about 4 ½ hours during which we will cover a distance of about 11 km.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is of an easy-medium level and is aimed at everyone, including children from 9 years old. The only requirement is to be able to ride a bike.
Other information
The activity can take place all year round and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants, weather permitting (for groups of more than 8 people, please contact us in private).
It is possible to hire an e-bike with pedal assistance at an extra cost of €35 per person (payable locally).

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
