Full description
Discover Naples, Pozzuoli and the Campi Flegrei in a fun and original way with a half-day bike tour.
Hop on a bike and follow a beautiful 70 km route to Pozzuoli, the second volcanic town par excellence in Campania. A local guide will accompany you on the tour, pointing out the most suggestive spots along the way.
You will enjoy a panoramic route with the sea in the background, craters and mountains shaped by volcanic activity. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
We will meet at 10 a.m. in Naples. After handing over the bikes, the guide will give us some information about the route in a small briefing.
Afterwards we will get on our bikes, ready to tackle the nature trail that will take us to Pozzuoli. As an alternative to the classic bicycle, it is possible to rent an e-bike, especially if we want to make the tour less physically demanding.
Along the way we will be able to enjoy a beautiful panorama with the sea in the background. In addition to the Phlegraean Fields, Pozzuoli also owes its international fame to bradyseism, a volcanic phenomenon that cyclically causes the land on which the city stands to rise and fall.
We will fully enjoy the city's particular volcanic charm thanks to the naturalistic stretch we will cycle along, observing the mountains shaped over the centuries by eruptions.
We will then cycle back to our starting point. The excursion lasts about 4 hours, for a total of 70 km.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is at an intermediate level and requires some pedalling training.
The minimum age for participation is 15.

The tour runs from March to September, weather permitting, and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
It is possible to hire an electric bike at an extra cost of €30 (payable locally).
