Binoculars in hand, it's time to sharpen your sights!
Join us for a birdwatching session inside the Riserva Naturale Orientata delle Saline di Trapani e Paceco. In addition to your guide, pink flamingos, avocets, black-winged stilts, white herons, kingfishers and many other migratory species that inhabit Trapani's Maria Stella Salt Pans will be waiting for you.
An experience of about one hour , in which you will be able to observe these marvellous specimens in their natural habitat, with total respect for the environment.
What we will do
The meeting point is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point near the Maria Stella salt pans in Trapani (TP) .
We will be welcomed by the guide , who will give us a brief introduction to the salt-pans ecosystem and the local fauna and flora. He will also give us indications on how to observe and behave during the birdwatching session.
Afterwards, we will each move in our own vehicles along a pre-established driveway in the Riserva Naturale Orientata delle Saline di Trapani e Paceco, where we will make brief stops at the main observation points.
We will then enter the heart of the guided birdwatching session where, if we are lucky, we will be able to observe pink flamingos and other migratory birds. The guide will not fail to share with us insights into species sightings, naturalistic curiosities and the history of the salt pans.
After a short walk on our own to explore the salt pans again, the tour will end with a return to the meeting point for a final discussion with the guide.
The experience will last about 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children up to 5 years of age participate free of charge, but must be accompanied by an adult and able to walk short distances.
The activity is not suitable for people with reduced mobility, as it includes walking sections on natural terrain. In addition, it is not recommended for women in advanced pregnancy, due to sun exposure and unpaved paths.
Other information
The experience is available from mid-April to around mid-October and is confirmed when there are at least 2 participants.

Important!
- The experience takes place along a driveway within the reserve. For this reason, it is necessary to be self-drive, as from the meeting point you will travel by your own means to reach the different observation areas.
- The presence of migratory birds, including flamingos, cannot be guaranteed, as they are free-roaming animals in a natural habitat. The organisation undertakes to ensure that the activity takes place under the best possible conditions, but is not responsible for any variations due to force majeure, such as adverse weather conditions, environmental changes or unforeseeable wildlife behaviour.
Dogs are not allowed during the experience so as not to disturb the local wildlife.
Free parking spaces are available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
