You know when you say 'I need a break'? Well, here you disconnect so much that you find yourself milking a goat after your coffee.
Experience the full experience of a farmer's day in Marano Ticino, in the province of Novara. Stay for a night in a B& B and take part in the farm's activities, from milking to tending the vegetable garden.

What we will do
Check-in is from 14: 00 to 20: 00 at a farmhouse in Marano Ticino (NO). On arrival, the owners will accompany you to your two-room apartment, a brand new accommodation surrounded by greenery.
You will stay in an independent flat of the B& B, equipped with a living room with kitchen, double bedroom, private bathroom with shower, bidet, toilet, courtesy kit and hairdryer, as well as hot/cold air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, fridge, oven, hob and kettle.
Your breakfast will be left in the kitchen: a basket containing fresh eggs, farmhouse dairy products, biscuits, cereals and other local goodies.
After breakfast you will participate in the most exciting part of your stay: the experience of being a farmer for a day. The activity will start around 08: 00: the young dairyman and farmer will be waiting for you and will guide you through his daily routine.
You will start by milking the goats, either by hand or using the mechanical method - and yes, you can try it too! Then you will move on to the care of the animals: goats, chickens, ducks, with egg collection, feeding and barn activities, varying according to the season.
The morning will end with a well-deserved reward: a tasting of aged goat cheeses, served buffet style and accompanied by a glass of local wine. The experience will end at around 11. 30 a. m. , lasting about 3½ hours.
After the activity, you will have access to your flat to settle in and check out shortly after 11: 30.

Other information
Accommodation is available year-round on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Check-in is from 14: 00 to 20: 00, check-out shortly after 11: 30.
The farmer's day experience will take place on the second day, before check-out, and could be shared with other participants.
Dogs are allowed: please contact the property at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate the presence of your four-legged friend.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
