Did you know that Hercules rested on these very shores? If it was enough for a mythological hero, imagine you!
Set sail on a 3-hour boat trip to Tropea and Capo Vaticano. Together with a skipper, you will explore legendary caves, snorkel among schools of fish in Praia i Focu and admire the old town perched on the cliffs.
And to end on a high note? An aperitif on board awaits you!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Tropea (VV). Awaiting us will be the skipper who will accompany us on our excursion.
We will set sail from the port heading south. The first stop will be Riaci Bay, where we will explore the Scoglio Grande and its sea caves with snorkelling masks provided by the staff. We will then continue past Formicoli Beach, the ancient site of a Roman port, sailing along impressive cliffs until we reach Capo Vaticano.
We will dive into the famous Praia i Focu beach, accessible only by sea, for a 30-minute swim surrounded by hundreds of fish. After passing Grotticelle Beach, we will reverse course towards Tropea to visit the Grotta dello Skeleton and observe its magical play of light.
The last swimming stop of about 30 minutes will await us at the Grotta del Palombaro, just below the iconic Santa Maria dell'Isola Sanctuary. While we admire the ancient houses built sheer above the sea, the staff will serve us an aperitif of prosecco, water and tarallucci.
Finally, we will return to the port of departure, concluding this adventure. The activity will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible and prams cannot be brought on board.

The activity takes place from May to November and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat used is a motorboat, 7 metres long and equipped with a shower, stereo, awning, sundeck and fridge. On board one stays without shoes.
In the event of food allergies or intolerances, please inform the organisers in advance at the contact details given in the e-mail confirmation of participation (gluten-free options are available) .
Dogs are welcome on board only if small and held in the arms, subject to the request and approval of the other guests.
On-site parking spaces are available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
