Discover the wild beauty of the Costa del Mito. Sail along the promontory of Capo Palinuro and admire its caves on an iconic wooden motor boat equipped with all comforts.
During the 2. 5-hour excursion , you will hear all the anecdotes that make this area of Campania even more evocative and stop for two bathroom stops at scenic spots along the way, such as Cala Fetente with its pleasant thermal waters and the Baia del buon dormire.

What we will do
We will meet at the port of Palinuro, where the boat will be waiting for us to sail along the beautiful coastline. Thanks to the captain, we will have the opportunity to discover one of Italy's most characteristic coastlines, whose rocks hide many caves, one more beautiful and fascinating than the other, such as the Grotta Azzurra.
This is no ordinary coastline. It is no coincidence that it is also called the Coast of Myth, because every ravine and every cave brings with it a story to discover. Palinuro, for example, is a name that is inextricably linked to mythology: this was the name of Aeneas' helmsman, who fell into the sea betrayed by the god Sleep in these very waters.
During the excursion, we will listen on board to all the most curious stories about the most picturesque parts of the coastline and admire sea caves, coves and towers.
We will also make 2 swimming stops lasting approximately 30 minutes. The first stop will be at Cala Fetente, where we will experience a dip in the thermal waters. The second will be in the Baia del buon dormire, considered one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Italy. The bay can only be reached by boat and is characterised by emerald-green waters and a tongue of fine, golden sand. A place so mythical that it is considered one of the abodes of the mythical sirens!
At the end of our tour we return to the starting point. The tour lasts 2. 5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Up to the age of 16, the presence of an accompanying adult is required.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The activity is scheduled from April to October, every day.
The boat used for the excursion is an Apreamare, a wooden motorboat made in Sorrento. Its dimensions of 8x3 metres allow the captain to easily approach the coast and access the caves. The boat is equipped with an awning, bow sundeck, cushions, freshwater shower, radio and bathroom. There is also an icebox on board, which is made available to participants should they wish to bring drinks to keep cool.
Dogs are not allowed.
For those arriving by car, municipal parking spaces in the harbour are available. If you do not have your own means of transport, you can request a transfer service to the Palinuro area: contact the organisers at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
After receiving the organiser's contact details in the booking confirmation email, remember to send them a photo of your front/back ID card, which is necessary to notify your details and those of the other passengers to the Coast Guard. In reply, you will receive more precise information on how to reach the meeting point.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
