Theisland of Ortigia is one of the most popular destinations for tourists from all over the world. If you have never visited it, don't miss the opportunity to go on a one-hour boat tour from Syracuse. Climb aboard, circumnavigate the island and visit the nearby sea caves.

What we will do
The rendezvous is in Syracuse at the place indicated in the booking confirmation. As skipper , I will welcome you on board the boat, ready to show you the historical and natural wonders of the city. I advise you to arrive 15 minutes before your chosen departure time.
We will depart from theIsland of Ortigia to enter the so-called Grand Harbour of Syracuse. We will walk along the city's Alphaeus promenade and see the Arethusa Fountain, Maniace Castle, the Cathedral and the Church of the Holy Spirit. Along the way I will tell you many curiosities about these landmarks of the city of Syracuse.
Leaving Ortigia, we will head towards the north coast of Syracuse in the direction of the sea caves. We will visit by boat the Grotta dei Cappuccini, the Grotta del Corallo, the Grotta dell'Amore with its characteristic heart shape, and the Grotta delle Stalattiti.
Outside the caves or near Castello Maniace we can enjoy a relaxing swim in front of these magnificent views. After a bathing stop of about 10 minutes, we will re-enter the Ortigia canal to return to the starting point.
The excursion will last one hour in total.

The activity is available all year round, every day , subject to marine weather conditions.
The excursion will take place on board a motor boat equipped with a canopy. Depending on the number of passengers, the group can be divided onto several boats of different capacities and lengths: a 6.90 m boat, a 7.50 m boat and an 8.60 m boat, up to a maximum of 40 participants . Life jackets and diving masks are available on board.
Dogs of all sizes are allowed on board .

The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals.
