Hire a motor boat in Portoferraio to venture by sea to discover the coast of theIsland of Elba.
Plan your itinerary before setting off or let yourself be inspired by the crystal-clear sea, the marvellous beaches and the caves that you will encounter during your navigation to choose where to dive.
The 40 HP boat can also be manoeuvred by those without a licence; all you have to do is choose your travel companions!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the time agreed at the time of booking in Portoferraio, a typical fishing village and the main landing place on the Island of Elba.
On your arrival I will have you sign an insurance contract and give you a manual with instructions on how to manoeuvre the boat. We will have a briefing of 15 minutes in which I will briefly explain the main controls and then I will hand you over the boat that will accompany you on your adventure to discover the Island of Elba.
The Fisherman 16 is a 5.30-metre-long motor boat with a Suzuki DF40A engine and is equipped with a central console, bow sundeck, cushions, safety equipment and a sun canopy: everything you need to spend a few hours of complete relaxation!
With your hands on the helm, you can enter the Scoglietto biological protection area, where you can take a swim and admire the caves and ravines that open up along the cliffs. While cruising along the coast, you can admire one of Napoleon's majestic residences and, near caves and coves, wear a snorkelling mask to admire the seabed and catch a glimpse of the marine inhabitants.
You can keep the boat with you for 4 hours, at the end of which you must return it to the port.
Who it is aimed at
There isno age limit for boarding the boat as a passenger. The boat can be driven by a person of at least 18 years of age, even if they do not have a licence. It is recommended that you know how to swim (life jackets are provided on board, however).

It is possible to hire the boat every day from May to October, subject to weather and sea conditions.
The boat available for the tour is a 5.30-metre long Fisherman 16 motorboat with a 40-hp Suzuki engine. It can accommodate up to 5 people on board and is equipped with a central console, bow sundeck, cushions, safety equipment and a sun canopy.
The motor boat will be delivered to you with a full tank of fuel. The cost of the fuel consumed will be settled on site at the end of the experience.
There is a car park 20 metres from the meeting point or you can arrive by bus.
Small and medium-sized animals are allowed on board, provided the owners take care not to spoil the cushions. You must bring towels for your four-legged friend on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
