Hop aboard a modern motorboat, which does not require a licence, to discover the Gulf of Alghero and the Porto Conte National Park.
Renting a boat in Alghero is the ideal solution for those who want to escape the crowded beaches or simply have the desire to discover hidden caves and coves that can only be reached by sea.
Choose to spend half a day or awhole day on board and get ready to leave!
What we will do
The rendezvous is in Alghero. Here the skipper will hand you over the boat and briefly explain everything you need to know before heading out to sea.
As soon as you leave the port of Alghero on your left, you will be able to enjoy a panoramic view of the city's historic centre. You will be able to admire the typical walls erected for defence against attacks from the sea.
Continuing your navigation, just 20 minutes from the port, you will find yourself at Capo Galera, where you can take your first swim in the transparent waters that lap against the rocky cliffs. Here you will be able to take a few strokes in the company of the wrasse, the small fish that like to swim in the company of people.
Continuing along you will pass Punta Giglio, a sheer limestone cliff that together with Capo Caccia delimits the Porto Conte Natural Park where you can find hidden coves and caves, such as the Grotta dei Palombi.
During the boat tour you can sunbathe and enjoy the sea breeze caressing your skin. The duration of the charter can vary from half a day(4 hours) to a full day(8 hours).

Anyone may board the boat, regardless of age.
The boat must be driven by an adult over the age of 18. A boat licence is not required.

You can hire the boat every day.
You will have at your disposal a Ranieri 545 model boat , 5.5 metres long and 2.15 metres wide with a Yamaha G Supreme 1000 cc 4-cylinder 16v engine equipped with a ladder and a sun canopy. The boat is ideal for 7 participants (5 adults + 2 children). Should the chosen model not be available, the skipper may offer you another boat with the same characteristics.
When booking, you can choose to hire the boat for half a day(4 hours) or a full day(8 hours). You must return the boat before 20:00.
Please note! Fuel is not included and must be paid upon return according to consumption.
