Rent a boat in Syracuse for a perfect do-it-yourself tour of Sicily's Ionian coast!
With your 5.5 m boat and 40 hp Mercury engine, you can take your crew of up to 6 to discover the local beauty. Sea caves, Bay of Two Brothers, Island of Ortigia: have you already planned your itinerary?
What we will do
The meeting will be in Syracuse, 10 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
After signing the rental contract, you will go to the dock for a half-hour briefing, during which the charterer will explain everything about the operation of the boat and the anchor. You will be on board a5.50 m longmotor boat with a 40 HP engine, which does not require a licence to be driven.
At the end of the theory part you will also be given a map to illustrate possible routes. Then it will be time to start the engines to begin the excursion: the choice of itinerary is up to you! From the island of Ortigia to the sea caves and the Baia dei Due Fratelli (or I Du' Frati), you will be able to explore the local beauty from a unique and privileged point of view, planning a tailor-made excursion that satisfies your every curiosity or desire.
The boat will be returned to the meeting point after 5 or 10 hours of rental, depending on the choice made at the time of booking.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit for passengers.
The driver must be at least 18 years old; a boat licence is not required, but at least previous experience driving a boat is required.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.

Rental is available daily, from 1 June to 30 September, for groups of 1 to 6 participants.
The boat is a 5.5 m Marine boat with a Mercury 40 HP engine, awning, cushions, safety equipment and freshwater shower.
Pleasenote: fuel is not included and will be payable on return according to consumption.
Dogs of all sizes are allowed on board.
Navigation in the Plemmirio nature reserve is not permitted, except with special permits.
The departure point, which is marked with a reference flag for customers, can be reached by public transport and by car (pay car parks in the vicinity).
