Sun lounger always occupied, towels piled up and the usual summer torment echoing from the beach umbrellas? Today you can leave all that behind and experience the sea of Cefalù in the best possible way: on board a boat of your own!
Rent a 5-metre boat with a 40-hp motor and your crew of up to 6 people and sail along the coast in total autonomy... without the need for a licence!
Forget the crowded beach, today the sea is your exclusive refuge!
What we will do
The meeting is at the harbour of Cefalù, where the staff will welcome you and your group of up to 6 people for registration and signing of the charter contract. Before departure, you will have a detailed briefing on the navigation rules and the characteristics of the boat.
The 5-metre-long boat with a 40 HP engine is equipped with every comfort, including awning, shower, geolocation, ladder, and all necessary safety equipment. The boat will be supplied with a full tank of fuel, so you can set sail carefree to explore the coast.
After a short test drive in the harbour to familiarise yourself with the controls, you will be ready to go. You will sail along the Cefalù coastline, past golden beaches and sheer cliffs, visit enchanting bays such as the nearby Kalura Beach, or relax on board.
Finally, you will return the boat after 4 hours or 8 hours of rental, depending on the option you chose when booking.
Who it is aimed at
The minimum age required for chartering is 18, while there is no age limit for passengers.
A licence is not required to drive this boat.
The boat is wheelchair accessible. To request boarding assistance for persons with reduced mobility, please contact the organisers in advance at the contact details in your booking confirmation email.
Other information
The activity is available from May to September. When booking, you can choose whether to hire the boat for "half a day (4 hours)" or "full day (8 hours)".
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; there are free and paid parking spaces on site.
On request, a transfer from your accommodation/hotel by electric shuttle is also available at an extra charge of €10 (maximum 8 persons). To request the transfer service, please contact the organiser at the contact details you will receive in your booking confirmation email.
A deposit of 250€ is required upon signing the rental contract, payable in cash or by card.
Dogs are not allowed on board. It is not possible to bring fishing rods on board.
Please note! Fuel is not included in the rental price and will be paid on return, according to consumption.
A driver service is available on request at a cost of 25€/h to be paid on site.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
