You know a perfect day? Transparent water, skin-warming sun, music in the background and you driving your boat among the wonders of Cilento.
In Palinuro you can experience all this without needing a licence! On board a 5.80 metre open boat with a 40 HP engine, you can explore the wonders of the coast in complete autonomy, together with your group of up to 7 people.
You can hire it for half a day (4 hours) or a full day (9 hours) and set off to discover legendary bays!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Palinuro (SA).
Here the skipper will hand you over the boat, explaining everything you need to know about its handling, the contract, and the rules for safe navigation. Before departure, you will take a short sea trial together to assess the driver's suitability and get familiar with the controls.
The boat is licence-free, comfortable and stable, 5.80 metres long, with a 40 hp engine. On board you will have an awning, shower, stereo system with USB and ice box (ice can be purchased at the port).
You can sail along the coast towards the spectacular Baia del Buon Dormire, the lively Marina di Camerota or push on to the wild Baia degli Infreschi. You are not allowed to enter the caves or go down to the beach, but you can stop to swim and relax by the sea.
When booking, you can choose between a 4-hour or 9-hour charter.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit.
A licence is not required to drive the boat, but the driver must be over 18 years of age. No experience is necessary, but the hirer will check driving ability before departure.
The boat is not accessible for wheelchair users or persons with reduced mobility.

Rental is available from April to September and is for groups of up to 7 people.
You can choose the half-day (4 hours) or full-day (9 hours) option. Please select your preference in the booking box.
Important: fuel is not included in the fee and must be paid in cash on return according to consumption.
At the time of signing the contract, a deposit of €150 in cash will be required, subject to assessment by the hirer.
There is paid parking on site and the meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
A skipper service is also available on request (subject to availability, from €150 for the whole day). The skipper reduces the number of embarkable passengers from 7 to 6 and can be requested from the contacts indicated in the booking confirmation email.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
