Full description
The charm of the caves, the goodness of Sicilian cuisine and the magic of the sunset: here is a tour that will engage all the senses!
Set sail with us for a2½-hour boat trip: you can admire Syracuse's three sea caves from the inside, take a dip in the crystal-clear waters and enjoy a rustic Sicilian aperitif as the sun sets behind theisland of Ortigia.
And with music on board, who knows, maybe a romantic slow dance at sunset will escape!
What we will do
We will meet in Syracuse, 10 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
Climbing aboard our boat, we will sail along the canal dividing the small island of Ortigia from the mainland to enter the 3 sea caves of the modern city, capable of astounding us with a picturesque play of light and colour: La Bocca, L' orecchio piccolo, L'acquario or Grotta delle Stalattiti.
Back outside, we will take a bathing stop of about 15 minutes near the caves and then head towards theisland of Ortigia. Here we will stop our engines to wait for the sun to set behind the island and enjoy an excellent rustic Sicilian aperitif of tagliere with cold meats, cheeses and vegetables and prosecco, while children will be served soft drinks.
The red sky and the rhythm of the music will provide the perfect atmosphere to relax, admire the view or... why not... engage in a dance? why not, throw yourself into a dance!
We will then return at dusk, with the lights of the boat illuminating the landscape, after 2½ hours of touring.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
Children from 0 to 6 years old are free of charge: please inform the organisers at the contact details indicated in your booking confirmation email.
The boat can be wheelchair-accessible: the skipper will assess the feasibility according to the person's weight (there are steps and small architectural barriers).
The excursion is not recommended for women in an advanced state of pregnancy.

The excursion takes place daily from June to October, with a minimum of 2 participants.
You will travel on an 8-metre motor boat equipped with a large awning, safety equipment, insurance, bow sundeck, cushions, Bluetooth stereo system, freshwater shower, ladder.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
People with food allergies or intolerances (e.g. celiacs) may contact the skipper for alternatives. Products may vary according to availability.
Dogs of all sizes are allowed on board.
The departure point, which is marked with a reference flag for customers, can be reached by public transport and by car (pay car parks in the vicinity).
