Get ready for the most special encounter of the year. No, we’re not talking about the one with our skipper (although fun is guaranteed) , but the one between the Ionian Sea and the Mediterranean Sea!
During this 4½-hour boat trip from Avola, you’ll admire the Vendicari Nature Reserve from the sea, take a dip near Calamosche beach and reach the picturesque Isola di Capo Passero, the exact spot where the two seas meet.
The icing on the cake? A delicious toast with prosecco and local specialities to round off the tour in style!
What we will do
We’ll meet 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Avola (SR). The skipper who will be taking us on our trip will be waiting for us there.
As we sail, the beaches of Eloro and Marianelli will pass before our eyes. We’ll then continue on to the stunning beach at Calamosche, where we’ll make our first stop for a refreshing swim .
Afterwards, the boat will take us into the heart of the Vendicari Nature Reserve, a protected area characterised by unspoilt beaches of the finest white sand. Here we’ll make another stop to explore the area’s rich seabed and go snorkelling with the equipment provided by the staff, including masks and snorkels.
Continuing our journey by sea, we’ll reach the ancient fishing village of Marzamemi, famous for its historic tuna trap, before heading on to the island of Capo Passero, the exact point where the Ionian Sea meets the Mediterranean Sea.
Finally, we’ll turn back towards the port of departure. During the return journey, we’ll relax on board whilst enjoying a delicious aperitif consisting of a glass of Prosecco accompanied by exquisite local specialities.
The tour will last approximately 4½ hours in total .

This activity is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions; those under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible, but people with reduced mobility are welcome on board.

The activity takes place from May to October and is confirmed provided there is a minimum of 6 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The vessel used is a 9-metre motorboat, fitted with an awning and a boarding ladder.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
