Sunset boat trip from Cefalù with dinner

From the city heat to the Kalura of Cefalù, this 3½-hour tour aboard a fully restored lifeboat will give you the energy to fight the summer heat!

Set sail with us to discover the beauty of the Sicilian coastline: alone, with your family, friends or new travel companions, you will rediscover the pleasure of a sunset over the sea as you admire the picturesque setting of the town of Cefalù from the water.

And as the sun slowly disappears under the water, you can celebrate this memorable experience by enjoying a typical Sicilian dinner on board the boat.

What we will do

We will meet in Cefalù (PA ) at the time agreed at the time of booking.

We will be met by our skipper who will take us straight out of the town port to begin our excursion. Our first stop will be to the east, in front of the Kalura, where we will take advantage of an initial bathing stop. It will be up to us, with the skipper's advice and depending on the weather and sea conditions, to choose how long we stay in the water.

The second stop will then be to the west, where we will be able to admire a splendid Sicilian sunset in all its beauty. At Porto Vecchio, we will enjoy the view of Cefalù Cathedral, its narrow streets and the seafront illuminated by the warm colours of dusk.

Accompanied by the last rays of the sun, we will entertain ourselves, if we wish, with an additional swimming break while our skipper will play the role of chef, preparing a delicious dinner by the light of.... sunset!

We will then sit around the table and enjoy the typical menu that the skipper will have prepared for us: depending on the availability and flair of our chef, we will eat Sicilian delicacies of all kinds, samples of local products, meatballs, meat, fish and aubergine rolls, and much more (the menu is not fixed and the proposal may vary). All washed down with drinks such as water, soft drinks, wine and beer.

After enjoying our typical dinner, we will head back to the port of Cefalù with a 15-20 minute sail. The excursion will last a total of 3½ hours.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit.

Children from 0 to 2 years old are free of charge: inform the organisers of their presence at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.

The boat is not accessible to wheelchair users or those with walking difficulties.

Other information

The activity is available daily from May to September, subject to a minimum of 4 participants.

The boat is a lifeboat that was restored in 2022 and is approximately 10.5 metres long and is equipped with 2 bedrooms, toilet, stereo, awning, fresh water shower, cabin with wooden cover and sundeck. Shoes are not permitted on the boat.

Bathing stops (at least 3) and their duration may vary depending on weather conditions and the needs of the participants.

Any food allergies or intolerances must be reported to the organiser after the booking confirmation.

Small dogs are allowed, subject to notification of the organiser after booking confirmation.

The meeting point can be reached by a shuttle bus provided by the Cefalù municipality. Free parking is also available on site.
