And you, do you know the true meaning of the colourful houses in the Venetian lagoon?
It won't be us who reveal it to you, but our skipper: take part in the boat tour from Chioggia to the Island of Pellestrina, discovering the attractions of the lagoon.
A1½-hour experience to get to know (and to toast to) this amazing area!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Chioggia (VE). We will be welcomed by the skipper who will accompany us on this adventure!
We will get on board atypical Venetian boat: the skipper will not fail to tell us why he has chosen to let us experience a lagoon boat, which best allows us to immerse ourselves in the culture of the area.
The navigation will then begin: we will sail in the lagoon that bathes the city of Chioggia, passing by attractions such as the Ca' Roman Nature Reserve and the Murazzi, a construction dating back to the Venetian Republic. We will then admire the mussel farms typical of the area and the so-called'casoni', or pile dwellings used as storage by local fishermen.
We will then reach theisland of Pellestrina, a characteristic strip of land that separates the Venetian lagoon from the Adriatic Sea: here we will discover the significance of the famous coloured houses, which we will obviously not fail to photograph from the boat. In the meantime, a toast (including a glass of prosecco) will be served on board.
We will then return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 1.5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 0 to 3 years participate free of charge: contact the skipper at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate their presence on board.
The boat is not accessible to people with mobility problems.

The experience takes place from March to November.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Theboat is a typical Venetian boat 6.70 metres long and equipped with an awning. Dogs are allowed on board.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
