Boat excursion along the coast of Naples to Nisida

See Naples and then... live it up!

Because here it's not just about looking: it's about sailing, swimming and marvelling. Set sail on a spectacular boat trip along the Naples coastline, among the city's most iconic sights.

From Castel dell'Ovo to Marechiaro, from Villa Volpicelli to Gaiola, to the fascinating island of Nisida: each stop is a story to tell. All this in just 2½ hours!

What we will do

The appointment is 5 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Naples (NA).

We will be welcomed by the skipper, ready to guide us on a fantastic boat trip along the coast of Naples and Posillipo.

Once embarked, we will begin navigation along the Borgo Marinari, one of the most characteristic corners of the city, dominated by the majestic Castel dell'Ovo. This will be the first dive into the history and legends of Naples, with a spectacular view of the Caracciolo waterfront and Vesuvius in the background.

We will continue along one of the city's most elegant stretches, past historic palazzi, seaside hotels and the lively atmosphere of Mappatella Beach, the Neapolitans' favourite free beach. The tour will continue through Mergellina, past moored boats and seaside clubs, to Palazzo Donn'Anna, emerging from the waters with its unfinished and mysterious beauty.

We will sail past historic residences such as Villa Lauro, Villa Volpicelli and the presidential residence of Villa Rosebery, elegant seafront views between gardens and noble terraces. We will make our first swimming stop in a sheltered Posillipo bay, perfect for a dip, a swim or simply to relax under the sun.

We will depart towards the Baia delle Rocce Verdi, with its green tufa cliffs reflected in the crystal clear sea, and the romantic village of Marechiaro, famous for the 'Fenestrella' sung by poets and musicians. We will then pass by the Palace of the Spirits, an ancient Roman villa shrouded in legends, and Gaiola, a double islet connected by a bridge and surrounded by seabed rich in history.

We will then reach a reserved and unspoilt place, accessible only by sea: a small secret cove nestled between the Grotte di Seiano, where we will make our second swimming stop in total tranquillity.

Finally, we will push on to theisland of Nisida, a place out of time, with its circular shape, volcanic cliffs and submerged crater. Admired from the sea, Nisida will reveal all its magic, bringing this excursion to a close.

We will then return to the starting point. The activity will last a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for children from 1 year of age; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or present signed authorisation.

The boat is not accessible for wheelchair users or persons with reduced mobility.

The activity takes place from May to September and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants.

Theitinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.

On-board audio guides are available for English, French, German and Spanish.

Theboat used is an8.5-metre Beneteau Flyer 8 Sundeck motorboat, with awning, freshwater shower, stereo system, fridge, USB sockets, bow and stern sundeck and climbing ladder. No shoes are allowed on board.

Dogs are not allowed on board.

There are paid parking spaces in the area. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
