I wonder if Odysseus saw them too during his journey along the Cyclops Riviera. No, we’re not talking about monsters, but dolphins, of course!
If you dream of spotting these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat, set sail with us for an unforgettable adventure from Aci Castello (CT). Accompanied by an experienced skipper, you’ll sail amongst maritime legends, majestic volcanic rocks and scenery dominated by the silhouette of Mount Etna.
A 2-hour boat tour, complete with fun water sports and a delicious toast with traditional sweets!
What we will do
We’ll meet 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Aci Castello (CT). Waiting for us there will be the skipper and the crew who will be accompanying us on this adventure.
Once on board, we’ll set sail for a journey of around 1 hour, heading out to sea off Aci Trezza, the ideal spot for spotting dolphins. During the journey, we’ll be able to admire the coastline dominated by the Norman Castle, the picturesque Riviera dei Ciclopi and the famous Faraglioni of Aci Trezza, set against the backdrop of Mount Etna.
We’ll then head back towards the coast to enjoy a swimming stop of about an hour in a quiet bay. It’ll be time to take the plunge and have fun with the on-board equipment: we can swim, paddle on a SUP or explore the seabed with the underwater scooter.
To round off the trip on a sweet note, the skipper will treat us to a glass of prosecco paired with traditional Sicilian biscuits.
Finally, we’ll turn back to return to the starting point. The excursion will last approximately 2 hours in total .
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions; those under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Children aged 3 and under participate free of charge.
The boat is not accessible to wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility.
Other information
The tour runs from May to October.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions. Please also note that dolphin sightings cannot be guaranteed, as these animals live in the wild in their natural habitat.
The vessel used is a Fjord 32 motorboat equipped with spacious relaxation areas, a shower, indoor seating areas, an on-board toilet and shaded areas.

Dogs are not permitted on board.
There are both free and paid car parks on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
