Discover the Maddalena Archipelago together with those who live it every day!
On this 7½-hour excursion you will not be a mere spectator, but an integral part of life on board: you will be able to assist the crew in the operations of recovering the nets and preparing the catch, and then enjoy a 0 km fish lunch on board.
And, of course, there will be no lack of diving and fun on Sardinia's most beautiful sea!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in La Maddalena (SS) . Awaiting us will be the crew that will accompany us on our excursion.
We will immediately head out to sea to reach the nets that were lowered the night before. Together with the fishermen, we will pull them aboard to discover the day's catch; we will then observe the cleaning of the catch, which will become the main ingredient of the meal. Those who wish will also be able to try their luck at pole fishing while travelling between the islands.
We will drop anchor near one of the most sheltered beaches in the archipelago for a stop of about an hour and a half. We will have time to dive or swim to the shore while the staff devote themselves to cooking. We will smell the scent of cooking wafting over the deck as we enjoy the tranquillity of the bay, away from the crowds.
Around 14: 00 we will enjoy our km 0 lunch. We will taste pasta with prawns and scampi, fried paranza fish, sausage and local cheese. There will be wine, beer and homemade myrtle to finish with homemade sweets .
The afternoon will be dedicated to rest and a last swim before turning back. We will sail between the smaller islands of the archipelago, watching the rocks change colour as the sun sets. We will finally return to the departure pier.
The activity will last approximately 7½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 1 year old; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible, but it is possible to bring a pushchair on board. The staff can support passengers with mild mobility difficulties in boarding, provided they are notified in advance.
The experience is not suitable for those who suffer from seasickness.
Other information
The activity takes place from April to September and is confirmed with a minimum number of 6 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary according to weather and sea conditions at the crew's discretion.
The vessel used is a 15-metre fishing boat with ample space at the stern, sundeck, shaded area, toilet and shower. On board you stay without shoes.
In case of allergies or intolerances, please inform the organisers by e-mail; alternatives are possible for those who do not eat fish, but coeliac passengers will have to provide their own meals.
Dogs are welcome on board if well socialised.
Free and paid parking spaces are available on site. The meeting point can be reached via the ferry service. An agreement is available to reach La Maddalena by ferry at a reduced price: contact the organiser for more information at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
