The best view of Gaeta? The one you can’t reach on foot.
Join us on a 1-hour boat tour to discover the medieval charm of Gaeta. You’ll sail past castles, cliffs and caves whilst listening to the stories and legends that the sea has kept safe for centuries.
What we will do
We will meet at the time selected when booking at the Old Port of Gaeta. Here, aboard a historic vessel, our boat tour to discover Gaeta will begin.
From the Gulf, we’ll have the chance to admire some of the highlights of medieval Gaeta, such as the Church of San Giovanni a Mare, the Cathedral of Sant’Erasmo, the Church of San Francesco, the remains of the ramparts and the Church of the Annunziata.
We will then proceed towards Punta Stendardo, where we will discover the ancient fortifications overlooking the sea, Palazzo Guarinelli and the Church of San Domenico. During the cruise, our skipper will share anecdotes and stories about the area with us, in both Italian and English.
Our next stop will be at the Oasi Blu di Monte Orlando, which offers a truly breathtaking view of the Angevin and Aragonese Castles, the cliffs, the Grotta del Turco and the Montagna Spaccata.
We’ll make a final stop in front of the renowned Serapo Beach with its ultra-fine white sand, before returning to port. The total duration of the excursion is 1 hour.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
