Embark on a timeless adventure with a one-hour boat tour to discover the medieval charm of Gaeta.
Let yourself be carried away by the waves and the history of these places, admiring the landscape from the water.
You will discover the most famous ancient churches of the place, admire fortifications and bastions overhanging the sea and contemplate the beauty of the Angevin and Aragonese Castles, the cliffs of Monte Orlando, the Grotta del Turco and the Montagna Spaccata.
What we will do
We will meet at the time agreed at the time of booking at Gaeta's Porto Antico. Here, on board a boat built in one of the area's historic shipyards, we will begin our boat tour to discover Gaeta's medieval history.
We will have the opportunity to admire from the Gulf some of the beauties of mediaeval Gaeta such as the Church of San Giovanni a Mare, the Cathedral of Sant'Erasmo, the Church of San Francesco, the remains of the Bastioni and the Church of the Annunziata.
From here our navigation will proceed towards Punta Stendardo, where we will discover the ancient fortifications overhanging the sea, the Guarinelli Palace and the Church of San Domenico. During the navigation, our skipper will explain to us, in Italian and English, anecdotes and stories about the area.
The next stop will be at theBlue Oasis of Monte Orlando, from which there is a truly impressive view of the Angevin and Aragonese Castles, the cliffs, the Grotta del Turco and the Montagna Spaccata.
We will make a final stop in front of the renowned Serapo Beach with its fine white sand, and then return to port. The total duration of the excursion is 1 hour.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
