Did you know that, according to legend, the foundations of the oldest castle in Naples rest on a magic egg?
If you want to discover this and other myths of the Neapolitan coastline, get on board: a 3-hour boat trip awaits you in the company of Captain Valeria, an expert marine biologist.
Between dives, snorkelling and a toast on board, you will fall in love with Naples from another point of view: that of the sea!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Naples (NA) . Awaiting us will be the skipper and marine biologist, ready to accompany us on our adventure in the Gulf of Naples!
Leaving the port, we will admire Castel dell'Ovo, the symbol of the city, in the distance, before continuing our navigation along the Posillipo coastline and its monumental villas. All the while, the guide will accompany us with explanations and anecdotes about the city.
Our first bathing stop of about 20-30 minutes will take us past Palazzo Donn'Anna, where we will snorkel inside a cave that once served as a Roman fishpond. Navigation will resume towards a secret beach near Villa Lauro, where we will stop for about an hour to swim freely among the fish that populate the reef.
Once back on board, we will enjoy a toast with Neapolitan taralli, accompanied by white wine, cold beer or soft drinks. This will be the perfect moment to chat about the flora and fauna observed during the dives, before turning back.
The excursion will end with a return to the starting point. The activity will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for children from 5 years of age; children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who must also supervise them during stops in the water.
In order to participate, it is necessary to be able to swim or at least be familiar with the water.
The boat is not accessible for wheelchair users or persons with reduced mobility; the excursion is also not suitable for pregnant women or persons weighing over 130 kg.

The activity takes place from April to October.
The itinerary and stops may vary according to weather and sea conditions at the skipper's discretion.
The boat used is a 7. 5-metre Argo launch, equipped with a large sundeck, awning, freshwater shower, music and a ladder; there is no toilet on board. No shoes are worn on board.
During the months of April and October, in addition to snorkelling equipment, you can also request a wetsuit: please inform us in advance of your size at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.

Dogs are welcome on board, provided they are small (maximum weight 12 kg) .
On-site parking spaces are available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
