Did you know that, according to legend, the foundations of Naples’ oldest castle rest on a magical egg?
If you’d like to discover this and other myths of the Neapolitan coastline, come aboard:a 3-hour boat trip awaits you in the company of Valeria and Peppe.
With a spot of diving, some snorkelling and a toast on board, you’ll fall in love with Naples from a whole new perspective: the sea!
What we will do
Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Naples (NA). Waiting for us will be the crew, comprising Peppe, a nationally accredited guide specialising in Neapolitan history, and marine biologist Valeria, who will accompany us on our adventure in the Gulf of Naples!
Once we’ve left the harbour, we’ll admire Castel dell’Ovo, the city’s symbol, in the distance, before continuing our journey along the Posillipo coast and past its monumental villas. Our first swimming stop, lasting around 20–30 minutes, will take us to Palazzo Donn’Anna, where we’ll go snorkelling inside a cave that once served as a Roman fishpond.
We’ll then set sail for a secret beach near Villa Lauro, where we’ll stop for about an hour to swim freely amongst the fish that inhabit the reef.
Once back on board, we’ll enjoy a toast with snacks, accompanied by white wine, cold beer or soft drinks. It’ll be the perfect moment to have a chat about the flora and fauna we’ve seen whilst diving, before setting off back.
The excursion will end with our return to the starting point. The activity will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for children from 5 years of age; children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who must also supervise them during stops in the water.
In order to participate, it is necessary to be able to swim or at least be familiar with the water.
The boat is not accessible for wheelchair users or persons with reduced mobility; the excursion is also not suitable for pregnant women or persons weighing over 130 kg.

The activity takes place from April to October.
The itinerary and stops may vary according to weather and sea conditions at the skipper's discretion.
The boat used is a 7. 5-metre Argo launch, equipped with a large sundeck, awning, freshwater shower, music and a ladder; there is no toilet on board. No shoes are worn on board.
During the months of April and October, in addition to snorkelling equipment, you can also request a wetsuit: please inform us in advance of your size at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
If you have any food allergies or intolerances, please inform the organisers in advance at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
Dogs are welcome on board, provided they are small (maximum weight 12 kg) .
On-site parking spaces are available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
