If you want to spend a few hours away from the crowded beaches, this boat tour is the ideal choice to spend a fun couple of hours discovering the most picturesque parts of the island of Ortigia and the Syracuse coastline.
You will explore the most characteristic spots in the area, such as the Maiace Castle, the Cathedral, and Fonte Aretusa. You will visit the sea caves of Syracuse, extremely impressive natural formations where you can dive into the water and snorkel.

What we will do
The rendezvous is in Syracuse, at the time selected during the booking process. Upon our arrival, we will be welcomed by the skipper and seated on the 8-metre boat. When the whole group is on board, our tour will begin.
First of all we will circumnavigate theisland of Ortigia admiring the ancient buildings that stand out over the city of Syracuse, such as the great Maiace Castle and the Cathedral. We will be enchanted by the wonder of Fonte Aretusa and the Grand Harbour, one of the most striking natural bays in the Mediterranean.
Afterwards, we will move on to explore other special features of the Syracuse coastline, including the unmissable sea caves. Near these, we will make a half-hour swimming and snorkelling stop, thanks to which we will come into contact with an underwater world rich in fauna and flora.
Back on board, we will visit the interior of the caves. Some of them are truly spectacular, such as the Cave of Love with its unique heart shape. During the tour we will also be offered a small aperitif with fresh fruit and Prosecco DOP.
The excursion lasts a total of two hours.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is simple and suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied on board by an adult; children up to the age of 5 participate free of charge: contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to let him know if they will be present.
The boat is accessible to people in wheelchairs or with walking difficulties.

The tour can be booked from May to October and will be confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The boat is 8.30 metres long and is equipped with a shower, awning and mini fridge.
Small dogs are allowed on board, subject to prior notification to the organisers.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
