Do you feel more like you're in a Tornatore film or a scene from Indiana Jones? In Syracuse, the line is very thin!
Take part in a 2-hour boat trip between the sea caves and the Plemmirio reserve. Together with a skipper, you will circumnavigate the island of Ortigia, discovering corners worthy of a film set.
And even underwater surprises await you, to be admired thanks to snorkelling masks. Ciak, you're on!
What we will do
The rendezvous is 10 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Syracuse (SR) . Awaiting us will be the skipper who will accompany us on our boat excursion!
We will set sail from the port and head for the spectacular sea caves of Syracuse. We will admire the Grotta di Archimede, the Grotta del Corallo and the Grotta delle Stalattiti, before taking our first swimming break of the day. We will dive for about 15-20 minutes and use the snorkelling masks available on board to observe the underwater life.
We will then continue on to the PlemmirioProtected Marine Area. We will sail along wild cliffs until we reach the ideal spot for a second swimming and snorkelling stop, which will last about 15-20 minutes.
Turning back, we will finally circumnavigate the island of Ortigia. We will admire the Baroque palaces reflected in the sea, the Maniace Castle, the Arethusa Spring and the Cathedral.
Finally, we will pass under the historic Umbertino Bridge to return to the port. The activity will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Children under 2 years of age are free of charge: please communicate their presence to the contacts indicated in your booking confirmation email.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible; however, staff can assist any passengers with mild mobility difficulties in boarding.

The activity takes place from June to December and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary according to weather and sea conditions at the crew's discretion.
The boat used is a Liver trimaran, 8 metres long and equipped with a canopy, freshwater shower, climbing ladder and stereo.
Small dogs are welcome on board.
Free parking spaces are available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
