See Syracuse from the crystal clear sea on a one-hour boat tourto theisland of Ortigia, the beating heart of the magnificent Sicilian town.
You will enjoy the city mirrored in the water and listen to the skipper's tales and curiosities, who will make you appreciate the beauty of Syracuse, from the Cathedral to the Venetian Palace.
The tour will continue with a fascinating exploration of the sea caves and a stop for a dip. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
We will meet at the Foro Vittorio Emanuele II embarkation point in Syracuse. Here we will be met by the skipper and, once we are all on board, we will set off on ourexciting boat tour.
We will sail around the island of Ortigia admiring the Cathedral, built on the site of a temple dedicated to Athena, the beautiful Maniace Castle and the church of Santa Lucia alla Badia, which houses Caravaggio's The Burial of Saint Lucy. We will also see Palazzo Veneziano, the mighty Mura Spagnole, the Alfeo promenade and Porta Marina.
The boat will then take us to discover the sea caves. We will enter these ravines of the coast to admire stalactites, stalagmites, coral flowers and many original shapes that are the result of nature's creative flair. Finally, we will make a short stop for a dip.
The activity lasts an hour in total.
