Sunset motorboat tour to Panarea and Stromboli

Would you like to spend a day on a boat to admire the beauty of Panarea and Stromboli up close?

Our motorboat excursion will take you to the most beautiful and hidden places on the two islands, such as the beaches of Cala Zimmari and Cala Junco in Panarea and the characteristic Borgo di Ginostra in Stromboli.

Finally, you will have the opportunity to witness Stromboli's spectacular volcanic eruptions against the evocative backdrop of sunset.

What we will do

Our boat excursion will depart from the port of Milazzo, shortly after boarding, at 12.30 p.m., with destination Panarea.

During the navigation, we will sail along Cape Milazzo, where the largest fortress in Sicily, the Milazzo Castle, rises. We will be able to admire the fortified citadel and the Borgo Antico, with its cathedral and Palazzo dei Giurati, from the sea.

Once we reach Panarea, we will dock at the port and make a stop of about two hours to visit the island in total freedom. Here, in fact, we can decide whether to visit the prehistoric village of Capo Mazzese and the small church of San Pietro or whether to dedicate ourselves to a few moments of relaxation at one of the island's beautiful beaches, such as Cala Zimmari or Cala Junco. We can also have lunch in one of the typical restaurants in the centre (lunch not included).

We will then leave Panarea and head for our second stop, Stromboli. En route, we will see the picturesque village of Ginostra, which cannot be reached by land, the Sciara del fuoco and the small promontory with lighthouse of Strombolicchio.

At Stromboli, we will again make a two-hour stop to discover the island on our own. You will discover some of the most unique beaches in the Aeolian Islands, such as those at Forgia Vecchia, Ficogrande and Punta Lena, known for their black sand and deep blue water. You can even climb the volcano of Stromboli, still active and world famous for its spectacular eruptions, up to the Observatory at an altitude of 400 metres.

On the return trip, at sunset, we will then pass under the Sciara del fuoco to enjoy the explosive spectacle of the Stromboli in an incredible and evocative setting.

We will finally return to the port of Milazzo at approximately 22:30.

The excursion has an effective duration of approximately 9 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone.

Children up to 3 years of age can participate in the tour free of charge. However, their presence must be indicated after booking, as they will only pay the disembarkation fee on site.

Attention! Please arrive 45 minutes before departure for embarkation.

The itinerary may vary due to weather conditions. The on-board staff may make minor changes to the itinerary to provide the best possible experience.

Disembarkation tax is not included in the fee (1 June-30 September: €5; 1 October-31 May: €2.50) and will be payable locally.

The excursion takes place on board a motor vessel with a maximum capacity of 300 passengers and an average speed of 25 knots. On board there is a snack bar, panoramic lounges, passenger toilets with showers (cold water).

Only small dogs are allowed on board subject to payment of a €10 ticket on site prior to embarkation. For medium or large dogs, a request must be made by email after confirmation of the booking, specifying breed and size: access will be allowed only upon acceptance.
