Full description
Porto San Paolo is the initial starting point for exploring theTavolara Punta Coda Cavallo Protected Marine Area!
And the best way to do this is by taking part in our boat excursion: on board a vintage boat driven by our skipper, you will sail the sea of Sardinia following the best itinerary of the day, with at least 4 scheduled bathroom stops .
And on board there will be lunch and an aperitif to toast the experience!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Porto San Paolo (SS). We will be welcomed by the skipper who will accompany us on this adventure in the sea of Sardinia!
Once we have finished boarding all the passengers and explained the rules of the ship, we will begin our navigation following the best itinerary of the day. Generally, our first stop will be at theIsola dei Cavalli, theIsola Piana or the Spiaggia del Dottore; depending on the distance, we will then continue on to another cove or theIsola di Tavolara, where it will be possible to land for a 1.5-hour stopover .
Our next stop will be theIsland of Molara, for a swim in its natural pools. And finally, a stop at Cala Girgolu or one of the many coves in the natural setting of the famous flat stones. The itinerary generally includes five locations visited during the navigation and at least four bathing stops in the Tavolara Punta Coda Cavallo Protected Marine Area.
While on board, you will be offered a lunch (included) consisting of a cold first course and an aperitif (included) of local cold cuts and cheeses accompanied by a glass of prosecco or a non-alcoholic drink. It will be possible to bring one's own food and drinks on board, stored in the icebox.
We will then return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 7 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 do not need to be accompanied on board by an adult. Children from 0 to 1 year old participate free of charge but must report their presence on board by contacting the skipper at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible and the experience is not recommended for people with mobility problems.
Other information
The experience takes place from April to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
There is free and/or paid parking in the vicinity. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Theboat is a traditional lateen sail and motor boat, 10 metres long and equipped with a sundeck, cushions, awning, fresh water shower, ladder and icebox. Shoes are allowed on board (no heels) but barefoot is preferable. Dogs are not allowed on board. It is forbidden to bring parasols on board.
Lunch and aperitifs are not available for people with food allergies and/or intolerances: if you have food allergies and/or intolerances you are welcome to bring food and drinks from home.
