Full description
Set off from Scilla by boat and discover up close how amazing the Costa Viola can be!
In a 3½-hour excursion, our skipper will show you enchanting places such as Cala Janculla, the Piscina di Venere and the Grotta delle Rondini. And, with a bit of luck, you may even see majestic cetaceans swimming freely offshore.
On the surface, lose yourself in the sight of the many caves and coves along the coastline; underwater, let yourself be captivated by underwater life with mask and snorkel. Don't worry, no swimming next to the whales!
What we will do
We will meet about 20 minutes before departure in Scylla to get acquainted with the crew. After we have all made ourselves comfortable on board, we will cast off our moorings ready to depart at 9.30 am.
During this first stretch of navigation, we will go offshore to spot, with a bit of luck, the cetaceans that live free and safe here. We will also hear from the skipper about the area and its inhabitants.
Arriving after about 40 minutes near Bagnara Calabra, we will visit the Grotta del Monaco by boat.
But after all this sailing it is time to stop and dive! The first swim stop of about 30-40 minutes will be at Cala Jaculla, a peaceful oasis of nature where we can do some snorkelling and dive in search of colourful fish.
Afterwards, we will head towards the largest cave on the coast, which is called Grotta delle Rondini. We will continue sailing under the coast, exploring the picturesque Cala Leone, Piscina di Venere and Chiesetta del Monaco. Depending on sea and weather conditions, we will take another swim of about 40 minutes.
Back on board to dry off in the sun, we will return to the port of departure to conclude our approximately 3½-hour excursion.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone and has no age limit.
Unfortunately, the boat is not wheelchair accessible, while it is possible for those with mobility disabilities.

The activity can take place from May to September every day and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Attention! Please arrive at least 20 minutes before departure.
The boat is a comfortable catamaran for up to 20 people, with a toilet, bar service, freshwater shower, cushions, sundeck, shaded area, a few snorkelling masks, floats and the possibility of karaoke. In the high season, depending on the number of participants, a larger boat (catamaran) may be used.
Small dogs are allowed on board.
There is the possibility of bringing food and drinks on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
