Full description
Treat yourself to the unique thrill of a Lampedusa sunset tour and experience the thrill of watching dolphins leap through the waves.
The skipper will take you to the best spots to spot these magnificent cetaceans, allowing you to take home the photographic memory of this exciting encounter.
Sailing in the open sea and along the coast of Lampedusa for 4 hours, you will calmly enjoy the moment of sunset and enjoy an aperitif on board with sweet and savoury delicacies of Sicilian cuisine.
What we will do
We will meet at 17:45 at the port of Lampedusa, where our boat is docked and our skipper and assistant skipper will be waiting for us. Once in the boat, we will leave the harbour to sail into the open sea and spot dolphins swimming and jumping in the waves.
To meet the marine protagonists of our excursion we will move away from the coast and follow the fishing boats just as the dolphins themselves do. We will position ourselves in the best spots to observe these marvellous cetaceans, keeping the right distance so as not to frighten them. We will then take out our phones and cameras to capture the dolphins and take home the exciting memory of this encounter.
After watching the dolphins swim, we will return to the coast and anchor in one of Lampedusa's many coves, chosen according to weather and sea conditions. We will stop to admire the sunset and follow the sun as it disappears over the horizon. If time permits, we may even take a dip.
We will then celebrate the experience with a tasty aperitif on board. We will enjoy a first course and a variety of appetisers, including olives, pizzas, chips and peanuts. We will end the aperitif with coffee and liqueurs and the iconic Sicilian pastry dessert: the cannolo.
We will return to port around 9.30 p.m., after four enthralling and enjoyable hours at sea.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children up to the age of 3 participate free of charge: notify the skipper of their presence after booking confirmation.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The excursion takes place from April to October, Monday to Friday, and is confirmed with a minimum number of 8 participants, subject to weather and sea conditions.
The boat is 12.50 metres long and 4 metres wide, with ample room on the canopy with cushions, a shaded area, WC and shower.
In the case of participants with food allergies and intolerances (including coeliacs), please contact the organisers at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to allow for variations to the aperitif menu.
Small dogs are allowed on board (max. 1 per person).
