Full description
More divine than Calabria, there is only the Costa degli Dei! This stretch of coastline between Tropea and Briatico is indeed renowned for its scenic wonders.
Between tuna nets, granite quarries and wild coves, get ready to immerse yourself in a unique experience aboard a boat or dinghy (depending on the number of participants).
3 hours among sun, sea and wind, framed by a unique spectacle of panoramas and made even more special by a rich Calabrian aperitif!
What we will do
We will meet in Tropea, 15 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
From here we will set off to discover the beautiful, wild cove of Vardanello and the lush Michelino beach, and then head towards the majestic Scoglio della Pizzuta, which stands in front of an ancient granite quarry in the municipality of Parghelia, from the Greek Para lia, 'city facing the sun'. The first stop will be in a small bay, accessible only by sea, called the Tonnara because of its ancient history.
We will then stop in front of the beach called Diver's Paradise for another swimming stop. The journey will continue to the Baia delle Sirene di Briatico, where we will reach the Galea rock, a place that offers unique emotions.
Right here, in the Briatico area, we will enjoy our aperitif on board based on products such as local schiacciata, grana padano cheese, 'nduja, crostini, taralli, accompanied by water and prosecco.
At the end of the aperitif we will begin the return journey, arriving in port after a 3-hour tour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors up to 15 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult, while from 15 years of age and up a waiver is sufficient.
Children up to 1 year old are free of charge: please inform the organisers at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The tour takes place daily from March to November, with a minimum of three people.
You travel by dinghy or boat, depending on the number of participants. The fleet comprises 4 boats, all equipped with awning, shower, stereo, sundeck and climbing ladder:
- 2 8-metre dinghies (up to 12 people)
- a 7-metre motor boat (up to 10 people)
- one 5.50 m motor boat (up to 6 persons)
The itinerary may vary depending on weather and sea conditions. Three swimming stops of approximately 30 minutes each are guaranteed.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. For those arriving by car, parking is available near the harbour. Alternatively, you can request a pickup service for up to 16 people from Tropea, Parghelia and Santa Domenica (5€ per person/r) or from Zambrone and Ricadi (10€ per person/r). Contact the organisers to request the transfer after booking confirmation.
