Boat trip from Tropea to Capo Vaticano and aperitif

Get ready for an unforgettable boat trip to Capo Vaticano!

From Tropea, you will explore suggestive sea caves and fascinating places, from the Grotta degli Innamorati to the Cascata dei Pirati, where buccaneers hid their stolen treasures.

You will dive into the splendid Riaci Bay, with its white sand and an imposing rock split in two by a river of turquoise water, almost as if nature itself wanted to draw the map of a treasure.

And to end on a high note, you will toast with an aperitif on board, admiring the sunset over one of the most fascinating stretches of the Costa degli Dei. An adventure that will become your favourite story to tell!

What we will do

We will meet at the port of Tropea, where the skipper will welcome you aboard the boat, ready to ply the waters of the Costa degli Dei.

We will sail to the enchanting Isola Bella and then to the Grotta degli Innamorati. Our adventure continues with a leap into the Grotta dello Skeleton, so called because of the play of light that forms inside.

The next stop will be the Riaci Bay, a true piece of paradise with its white sandy beach and brightly coloured sea, where we will take our first refreshing dip. The stop lasts about 15 to 20 minutes.

Then it will be the turn of Praia i Focu, with its crystal-clear waters inviting you to a second dive. Those who wish can also take advantage of the snorkelling kit available on board to explore the seabed.

The itinerary will continue in the direction of Capo Vaticano: we will sail along the majestic cliff with the Pirates' Waterfall, where, according to legend, buccaneers hid their plundered treasures.

For the third bathing stop the skipper will take us to Grotticelle beach, a bay of fine sand with a transparent blue sea, while the fourth and final bathing stop will be at Tropea Island.

The skipper will serve us on board a delicious aperitif with bruschetta made with 'nduja and onions and Calabrian soppressata, accompanied by water, soft drinks and local white wine.

The tour lasts a total of 3 hours and ends with the return to the starting point.

Who it is aimed at

The tour is open to everyone, with no age limit. Children under 2 years participate free of charge.

The boat is not wheelchair accessible.

Other information

The activity is scheduled from April to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 6 passengers.

The boat is a 7.10-metre long Cayman 23 Sport. On board there is a sun canopy, refrigerator, Bluetooth stereo for music, shower, picnic table and two large sundecks both fore and aft.

Dogs are not allowed on board.
