Embark on a 3. 5-hour tour from Tropea and explore the Capo Vaticano coastline and all its beauties, including Isola Bella and the Grotta degli Innamorati! You can relax on board the boat, admire beautiful landscapes and enjoy a delicious typical aperitif.
This is a must-do route: don't miss it!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Tropea (VV). Awaiting us will be the skipper who will accompany us on this adventure. After an initial welcome, we will board the boat to begin our journey towards the wonders of the Costa degli Dei.
We will sail south, stopping at the mysterious Skeleton Cave and admiring the majestic Riaci Canyon. We will then continue to the Pirates' Waterfall and the ancient Roman port of Forum Erculis, a true natural aquarium. The skipper will choose the best times for our five or six stops, each lasting about 15 or 30 minutes. We will be able to take advantage of them to dive into the magnificent waters of the area, such as those that bathe the Praja di Fuoco and characterise the Grotticelle Lagoon. We will have all the snorkelling equipment on board the boat!
During the navigation, our guide will tell us stories and legends related to this coastline, making the experience even more engaging and authentic.
Towards the end of the tour, usually near Tropea's Isola Bella, we will enjoy an aperitif with sweet and savoury local products (included) , accompanied by Calabrian white wine, water and soft drinks. Finally, after admiring the famous Grotta degli Innamorati, we will return to the port of departure.
The activity will last a total of 3. 5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not accessible to people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.
Other information
The activity takes place from April until November and is confirmed with a minimum number of 6 participants. The itinerary and stops may vary according to weather and sea conditions at the skipper's discretion.
The boat used is a boat equipped with a large parasol, sun sofa, stereo system, refrigerator, freshwater shower, stern platform and ladder. On board you can stay without shoes. The type of boat may change depending on availability and the number of participants (it could also be a dinghy) .
If you have coeliac disease, please inform the organisers in advance at the contact details given in the e-mail confirming your participation; there are no options for other intolerances.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
On-site parking spaces are available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
