Full description
Join us for a boat tour to Vulcano Island that will take you to the most picturesque places in the area.
You will visit the Grotta degli Angeli (Cave of Angels), the Bay of Black Sands, the Faraglioni (stacks) and the Piscina di Venere (Pool of Venus), said to be the favourite place of the goddess of the same name. Along the way there will be stops not only to admire the sights and immortalise them in photos and videos, but also to dive from the boat and swim in the clear waters of the sea.
This tour is your chance to relax, enjoy the beauty of the Aeolian Islands and experience unforgettable moments that you will be eager to tell your friends about!
What we will do
The meeting is at the Port of Vulcano at 14:00. Upon our arrival, we will be welcomed by the skipper who will make us sit on the boat. Once everyone is on board, we will be ready to leave.
The tour will first take us to the suggestive promontory of Vulcanello, connected to the island by an isthmus, formed after the eruption of the 16th century. We will admire the Valle dei Mostri (Valley of Monsters), so called because of the terrifying figures created by the lava.
We will then proceed to visit the Faraglioni, the Grotta degli Angeli and the Grotta del Cavallo. We will also see the Bay of the Black Sands, characterised by a volcanic beach, and the Gran Cratere della Fossa.
Another must-see stop will be the Pool of Venus, where it is said that the goddess Venus loved to dive in order to get her virginity back. We will then continue on to the village of Gelso, dominated by wild, unspoilt nature.
During the tour, there will be stops to dive from the boat and enjoy a swim. Return is scheduled at 16. 00 for a total duration of 2 hours.

Children from 0 to 3 years old are free of charge: please inform us of their presence after the booking confirmation.
Other information
The tour can be booked from May to October, subject to weather and sea conditions.
It is not possible to take animals, bicycles and scooters on board. Furthermore, take-away food or drinks are not permitted on the boat.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
