Full description
Step aboard a modern motor boat and take a sea break to discover the unique coastline of the Zingaro Nature Reserve. You will sail for 4 hours along a wild and unspoilt stretch of coastline with sheer cliffs, rock caves and a crystal clear sea rich in flora and fauna.
The boat will make an initial swim stop at Cala dell'Uzzo and you will be able to dive into the Grotta degli Innamorati. You will have the unique experience of swimming inside a sea cave and lying for a moment on its small beach.
After the stop, the boat will head towards the massive Faraglioni of Scopello. There will be a guide on board to explain the history and legends of these enchanting places. Also included in the excursion is a tasty aperitif with typical Sicilian products to be enjoyed overlooking the sea.
What we will do
We will meet in San Vito Lo Capo, where the boat that will accompany us on our excursion awaits us. After settling on board, we will head for the Zingaro Nature Reserve: 7 wonderful kilometres of coastline dominated by wild and enchanting nature.
We cannot help but admire the contrast of colours between the blue and emerald green of the sea and the white pebble beaches, framed by the Mediterranean maquis. Not to mention the magnificent cliffs rising several metres above the sea and the many caves with their entrances carved into the rock. Not only that, our guide on board will tell us about the area, dwelling on the interesting legends that hover over the Zingaro Nature Reserve.
We will stop at one of the most beautiful beaches in the Reserve: Cala dell'Uzzo. Here we will have the truly unique experience of diving from the boat withsnorkelling equipment (included) to swim inside the Lovers' Cave. We will explore its pristine seabed and swim to the small beach inside the cave.
After returning on board, the boat will head towards the majestic Faraglioni of Scopello, which emerge from the water with their rich vegetation. The two stacks act as sentinels of the beautiful bay that was once a rich tuna fishery. Today, this corner of the coast is considered a paradise for snorkelling and diving enthusiasts. Here we will make a second swim stop lasting about 30 minutes.
Not only beautiful nature and crystal clear sea, our excursion also includes the nice surprise of a tasty aperitif on board with typical Sicilian products, including pane cunzato, primosale cheese, seasoned olives, wine and water. Once the sea-view aperitif is over, the boat will head back to San Vito Lo Capo.
The excursion will last four hours.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is open to everyone, with no age limit.
Children up to 1 year of age must be held during the excursion and can participate free of charge, while children aged 1 to 2 years must pay an insurance fee of €5 on site.
The boat is wheelchair accessible. Please contact the organisers at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email for assistance with boarding.
Other information
The excursion is available from May to October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 10 participants.
Theitinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions: the captain will decide on the most suitable route to follow, guaranteeing the safety of the guests on board and a peaceful and pleasant sailing experience.
The motor boat, christened Chicca, is 12 metres long and is equipped with comforts such as a large awning, a roof-top sun deck with comfortable cushions, a sundeck at the bow for sunbathers, a freshwater shower, toilets and a stereo for music on board. Snorkelling sets, life jackets, boards and swimming aid sets are also available to passengers. The maximum capacity of the boat is 22 passengers and 2 crew members.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
The staff has no way of making changes to the aperitif menu in case of food intolerances and allergies, but you are allowed to bring your own food on board.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
