Full description
Set sail aboard a modern motor boat for 4 hours to discover the Zingaro Nature Reserve.
Enter the Grotta degli Innamorati and enjoy the unique experience of swimming in crystal-clear waters accompanied by the tales of an expert guide on board.
And, to crown this adventure, a tasty aperitif with typical Sicilian products to be enjoyed strictly overlooking the sea!
What we will do
The meeting will take place in San Vito Lo Capo, where the boat that will accompany us on our excursion awaits us. Once on board, we will sail towards the Zingaro Nature Reserve: 7 wonderful kilometres of coastline dominated by wild and enchanting nature.
We cannot help but admire the contrast of colours between the blue and emerald green of the sea and the white pebble beaches, framed by the Mediterranean maquis. Among magnificent cliffs rising several metres above the sea and splendid caves, our guide on board will tell us about the area, dwelling on the legends that hover over the Zingaro Nature Reserve.
We will stop at one of the most beautiful beaches in the Reserve: Cala dell'Uzzo. Here we will have the unique experience of a dive from the boat withsnorkelling equipment (included) to swim inside the Lovers' Cave.
Back on board again, the boat will head towards the majestic Faraglioni of Scopello, which emerge from the water acting as sentinels of the bay that was once a rich tuna fishery. Today, this corner of the coast is considered a paradise for snorkelling and diving enthusiasts. Here we will make a second swim stop lasting about 30 minutes.
Not only beautiful nature and crystal clear sea, our excursion will include a tasty aperitif on board with typical Sicilian products, including pane cunzato, primosale cheese, seasoned olives, wine and water. Once the sea-view aperitif is over, the boat will head back to San Vito Lo Capo.
The excursion will last four hours.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is open to everyone, with no age limit.
Children up to 1 year of age must be held during the excursion and can participate free of charge, while children aged 1 to 2 years must pay an insurance fee of €5 on site.
The boat is wheelchair accessible. Please contact the organisers at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email for assistance with boarding.
Other information
The excursion is available from May to October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 10 participants.
Theitinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions: the captain will decide on the most suitable route to follow, guaranteeing the safety of the guests on board and a peaceful and pleasant sailing experience.
The motor boat, christened Chicca, is 12 metres long and is equipped with a large awning, a rooftop sun deck with comfortable cushions, a sundeck at the bow, a freshwater shower, toilets and a stereo for music on board. Snorkelling sets, life jackets, boards and swimming aid sets are also available to passengers.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
The staff cannot make changes to the aperitif menu in case of food intolerances and allergies, but you are allowed to bring your own food on board.
