If the idea of choosing yet another restaurant on the coast bores you, go on this fantastic half-day boat trip and enjoy a lunch of typical Sicilian products while admiring Cefalù from the sea.
Stop at the best coves in the area, then enjoy snorkelling and diving off the cliffs. Finally, relax on board as you are bewitched by theenchanting panorama.
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Cefalù (PA), where our skipper will be waiting for us. We will board the boat, an almost 11-metre wooden lifeboat, and begin our navigation. Immediately, we will be served a delicious welcome drink (included) of fresh fruit and prosecco, which we will enjoy as we proceed towards the Bay of the Emirs. Here we will stop for about 20 minutes for a swim in the sea, before heading to the Porto Vecchio where we can admire Cefalù Cathedral, its narrow streets and the magnificent seafront promenade.
During this stop, which will last about an hour, we will take the opportunity to do some snorkelling and eat a lunch on board (included) based on Sicilian specialities such as boiled octopus, aubergines, fresh pasta, caponata, chicken salad (the menu is not fixed and the proposal may vary), water, white wine and soft drinks.
Relaxing a little on board, we resume sailing to reach the last stop: a magnificent cove with a characteristic appearance, near which there are cliffs from which it is possible to dive into the sea. After a last swim of about 20 minutes, we will return to the starting point.
The activity will last a total of 5½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 may participate subject to signing a waiver by a responsible adult.
Children from 0 to 2 years of age participate free of charge, but it is necessary to communicate their presence in advance via the contact details you will receive in your booking confirmation e-mail.
The boat is not accessible to wheelchair users or those with walking difficulties.
Other information
The experience is available from the beginning of May to the beginning of October and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 4 participants.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport , while free parking spaces are available nearby.
The boat used during the activity is a fine wooden lifeboat, approx. 10.5 metres long and equipped with 2 bedrooms, WC, stereo, awning, freshwater shower, cabin with wooden cover and sundeck. It is necessary to remain barefoot on the boat.
During the experience you will be offered a welcome drink (included) with prosecco and fresh fruit and a lunch (included) with Sicilian specialities such as boiled octopus, aubergines, fresh pasta, caponata, chicken salad (the menu is not fixed and the proposal may vary), water, white wine and soft drinks. In case of allergies and intolerances, you can request an alternative via the contact details you will receive in your booking confirmation e-mail.
Small dogs are allowed on board, but it is necessary to communicate their presence in advance through the contact details you will receive in your booking confirmation e-mail.
