Do you know the legend of Scylla?
A nymph of disconcerting beauty who, as Ovid recounts, was transformed into a monster by the envious sorceress Circe. Yet, today, the place that bears her name is among the most scenic destinations on the Costa Viola!
Let yourself be conquered by its charm, too, by taking part in this 2-hour boat tour to discover the wonders of Scilla, amidst picturesque landscapes and crystal-clear waters.
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Scilla (RC). We will be welcomed by thecrew who will accompany us on this tour to discover one of the most beautiful views of the Calabrian coastline!
Once on board, our skipper will take us to admire Scilla's Ruffo Castle from the sea. We will continue the route past Marina Grande di Scilla until we reach Torre Cavallo, where we will make our first 20-minute swim stop.
Thanks to thesnorkelling equipment on board, we will be able to venture out to discover the seabed of the coast, exploring the sea of Calabria from a unique vantage point.
From there, we will resume sailing past the characteristic village of Chianalea di Scilla, a small fishing village known as the'Venice of Calabria'. We will finally arrive in Favazzina to make our second and final 20-minute swim stop.
We will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult on board. Children aged 0 to 4 participate free of charge: contact the skipper at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate their presence on board.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible but people with reduced mobility are welcome on board: contact the skipper at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request boarding support.

The experience takes place from May to September and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
There is a car park in the vicinity. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Theboat is the motor boat Scilla, which is 10 metres long and equipped with an awning and outdoor shower. Shoes are not allowed on board, you remain barefoot. Dogs are allowed: contact the skipper at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to assess the possibility of taking your four-legged friend on board.
