If you’re looking for the ‘slow life’, you’ll love this boat trip from Lipari to Alicudi and Filicudi.
With stops for a swim in volcanic bays and visits to small villages on shore, you’ll discover two corners of the Aeolian Islands steeped in old-world charm, far removed from the livelier and, at times, glamorous pace of the archipelago .
A full-day experience that will round off with a toast featuring Malvasia wine and traditional Sicilian sweets!
What we will do
We’ll meet 15 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Lipari (ME). The skipper who will be guiding us on the trip will be waiting for us there.
We’ll set sail from the Marina Corta jetty towards Alicudi,the westernmost island of the Aeolian archipelago. Before arriving, we’ll stop for a swim, then we’ll go ashore to stroll amongst its characteristic stone houses and take a closer look at the rugged coastline that defines its outline.
Back on board, we’ll head to Filicudi, where a second swim stop awaits us near the Grotta del Bue Marino, an ideal spot for those wishing to go snorkelling and explore the marine environment.
We’ll continue along the coast, passing some of the island’s most picturesque bays, including Baia di Porto, before going ashore. Here, we can have lunch at one of the local restaurants or relax on the beach (lunch not included) .
On the return journey, we’ll share a toast with Malvasia wine and traditional Aeolian sweets before heading back to Lipari.
The excursion will last approximately 8½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions. Children must be accompanied by an adult; those aged 16 and over may take part without an accompanying adult.
This activity is not suitable for people with disabilities or mobility difficulties.

The trip takes place from April to October and is confirmed once a minimum of 10 participants has been reached.
The itinerary may be subject to change depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat is fitted with two 300 CV Aifo engines and is equipped with VHF, GPS, a microphone system and a stereo. On board, you’ll find a spacious sun deck at the bow, an upper sun deck, a shaded area at the stern with seating and cushions, as well as a swim platform with a ladder, a shower and a toilet.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
