Full description
With its natural pools, islets and an ever-active volcano, this boat trip will take you on a journey of discovery to two of the most fascinating islands in the Aeolian archipelago: Panerea and Stromboli!
A full-day excursion that will end in front of the Sciara del Fuoco, where you’ll be able to witness the volcano’s spectacular eruptions from the sea!
What we will do
We’ll meet 15 minutes before the scheduled time at the departure point in Vulcano (ME). The skipper who will be accompanying us on our excursion around the Aeolian Islands will be waiting for us there!
Once we’ve set sail, we’ll reach Panarea after about 45 minutes’ sailing. Our first stop will be Cala Junco, a natural swimming pool hidden amongst the rocks and protected by the FAI, where we’ll stop for our first swim of the day.
Back on board, we’ll head for the port of San Pietro, the heart of the island. We’ll go ashore and have about two hours to stroll through the village streets, soak up the atmosphere or have lunch at one of the local restaurants.
Back on board, we’ll continue our cruise amongst the islets surrounding Panarea. We’ll pass by Bottaro, known for its underwater fumaroles, and Lisca Bianca, home to the picturesque Grotta degli Innamorati. Along the way, we’ll make two further stops for a swim, which are also perfect for snorkelling.
In the afternoon, we’ll set course for Stromboli, which we’ll reach after about 50 minutes. Before disembarking, we’ll admire the island’s silhouette, then stop for another dip in its distinctive dark waters.
Afterwards, we’ll moor at the port of Scari, where we’ll have about another two hours to explore the island, relax on the black-sand beaches or have dinner at one of the local restaurants (meal not included) .
At sunset, we’ll head back out to sea and make our way to Strombolicchio and the Sciara del Fuoco, where we’ll witness Stromboli’s spectacular eruptions, with plumes of smoke and tongues of lava lighting up the sky.
At the end of the cruise, we’ll return to the starting point. The excursion will last a total of approximately 11 hours .
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions. Children must be accompanied by an adult; those aged 16 and over may take part without an accompanying adult.
This activity is not suitable for people with disabilities or mobility difficulties.

The trip takes place from April to October and is confirmed once a minimum of 10 participants has been reached.
The itinerary may be subject to change depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat is powered by two 300 CV Aifo engines and is equipped with VHF, GPS, a microphone system and a stereo. On board there is a spacious sun deck at the bow, a second sun deck on the upper deck, a shaded area at the stern with seating and cushions, as well as a swim platform with a ladder, a shower and a toilet.
Small dogs are permitted upon request: please contact the skipper using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email to let them know your four-legged friend will be on board.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
