Full description
Explore the Aventino Valley on board a 4x4 buggy side by side and have fun driving on mule tracks and dirt roads in the midst of nature.
You will leave from the village of Palena, in the province of Chieti, and drive into the surrounding nature reserves in search of the most beautiful landscapes.
You will not miss a stop in the historical centre and a small tasting of typical products to crown the experience with a touch of taste!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Palena (CH). We will meet the guide who will accompany us on the tour and have a brief introductory briefing on the route and the use of the 4x4s, which are very easy to drive for anyone with a B licence.
The route we will cover will be about 20 km long and mostly unpaved, in the midst of the woods and nature of the Aventine Valley. We will stop at the most beautiful viewpoints to take photos and, if we wish, we can swap driving with a passenger, to both experience the thrill of off-road driving!
There will also be a stop in the historic centre of Civitella Messer Raimondo, a stroll through the village and a small tasting of typical products, included in the price. In total, the activity will last about 1.5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level. A B licence is required to drive the side-by-side. The minimum age for passengers is 6 years.
Other information
This activity is available all year round, except in August and September, subject to weather conditions and guide availability. A minimum number of 2 buggies is required to confirm the activity.
Important: the fee includes 1 buggy for two people, driver and passenger, with the possibility of swapping driving (if you want to do the entire excursion with the guide, you will have to book 2 vehicles). The centre has 3 buggies for a total of 6 participants.
