If you are a lover of nature and water sports, you cannot miss our canoe tour to discover the Adda River, a waterway that flows in Lombardy and is 313 km long.
You will sail along a rather peaceful stretch, admiring the Brivio Marshes, a marshy area where various types of plants grow and where migratory birds nest. Your guide will tell you interesting facts about the place and its morphology.
You will arrive as far as the Airuno beach and here you will take a short break before returning to the starting point. It will be an unforgettable experience!
What we will do
Theappointment is in Brivio, a town in the province of Lecco, at 09:00. We will be welcomed by an AIGAE guide and a Canadian canoe instructor. Before starting the activity, we will follow a 15-minute lesson on how to canoe. Immediately afterwards, we will do a short exercise in the water.
At the end of the briefing, we will start the excursion. The loop trip on the River Adda, a total of 10 km, will take us to the Brivio Marshes, one of the area's most picturesque natural areas, characterised by very calm waters that are easy to navigate. Arriving at the Airuno beach, we will make a short stop to regain energy.
Along the way we will learn about the local flora and fauna. We will see alders, poplars, white willows, oaks and marsh birds such as herons, egrets, little grebes and royal swans. After about 2 ½ hours of paddling, we return to the starting point.
The excursion lasts a total of 3 ½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is simple and suitable for everyone. The minimum age to participate is 14. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Other information
The excursion is available from February to mid-October, every Saturday. Reservations will be confirmed when a minimum number of 2 participants is reached.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
