Full description
Paddling in a canoe is an experience that gives a feeling of great peace and freedom. Experience it for the first time in Angera on the Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore with our exciting three-and-a-half-hour Canadian canoe tour.
The Canadian c anoe is a capacious and safe craft, but above all it is impossible to get wet with, thanks to the comfort of the raised seat and the single side paddle.

What we will do
The rendezvous is in Angera (VA). On arrival, we will be welcomed by theinstructor and given our Canadian canoe, together with paddles, life jacket and waterproof shoe covers (full equipment is included in the fee).
We will have a briefing on the use of the canoe and the safety rules to be adopted and, after a few trials in the water, we will be ready to set off on our tour, during which we will reach Piedmont from Lombardy in just 15 minutes!
We will paddle in peace in theBruschera Oasis, a protected area opposite the charming town of Angera on the Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore. We will explore it all and disembark onIsolino Partegora, the only dry land on this side of the lake.
After about an hour and a half's tour we will reach by water Arona, a lively town on the Piedmont shore where it is usually difficult to find a parking space, but we will have no such problems aboard our canoe! In fact, we will be able to decide whether to disembark for a quiet stopover, where we can take a walk along the lakefront or have a refreshing ice cream.
We will then re-board the canoes to calmly return to Angera. The activity lasts a total of about 3 ½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 7 and up. A reduced rate is available for participants up to 17 years of age: 1 participant €45.00 per person, 2 participants €40.00 per person, 3 participants or more €35.00 per person (with an additional charge of €10.00 in August); please contact us to make your booking request with underage participants.
No technical expertise is required.

The activity can be booked all year round, subject to weather conditions.
The excursion can take place in 2- or 3-seater canoes, depending on preference and availability. Dogs can participate in the experience.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
