What do wine and a candle have in common?
Both warm us up on cold winter’s days! And that’s exactly what they’ll do during our candle-making and wine-tasting workshop in Strevi: you’ll visit a family-run winery, sample wines and local produce, and make your own scented candle to take home.
An experience lasting over two hours that’s sure to warm your heart!
What we will do
We’ll meet 10 minutes before the selected time at the Oddone Prati Winery in Strevi (AL) . Once there, we’ll meet our guide – a member of the Oddone Prati family – who will accompany us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, the experience will begin with a guided tour of the winery: we’ll explore both the modern and traditional production areas, learning about the cultivation of native and international grape varieties and the winemaking process. This part of the tour will conclude with a tasting of one of the winery’s wines.
We will then take our seats in the tasting room, which, for the occasion, will be transformed into our workshop. Helena, a specialist in candle-making, will be waiting for us there to guide us through the process of making our own candle: we’ll learn about plant-based waxes, discover the techniques involved, choose our favourite fragrance and create our very own candle!
Whilst we wait for the candle to cool, we’ll taste two wines from the winery, accompanied by a platter of cold cuts, cheeses and baked goods.
The experience lasts approximately two and a half hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for those aged 13 and over.
The wine tasting is reserved for participants of legal drinking age only. Any underage participants will be served a platter accompanied by a non-alcoholic drink.
The venue is wheelchair accessible, except for the production area where the guided tour of the winery takes place.
Other information
The experience takes place from November to March on Saturdays and Sundays and is confirmed once the minimum number of 2 participants has been reached.
Options are available for people with food allergies and intolerances: please contact the venue using the details provided in your booking confirmation email to let them know of any dietary requirements.
Dogs are permitted except during the guided tour of the winery.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
