Born under the sign of Libra, this adventure is for you... but the other signs of the Zodiac will enjoy it too!
Explore the mouth of the Stella river in a Canadian canoe, starting from Bepi's Libra, a fascinating fishing rig suspended over the water. You will paddle through the silence of the Friulian lagoon to the village of Casoni, the iconic reed huts that can only be reached by water.
A guided excursion lasting 2 ½ hours, perfect for finding your balance between nature, sport and curiosity!
What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated time at the meeting point in Palazzolo dello Stella (UD).
We will be welcomed by the nature guide, who will provide us with all the equipment we need to take part in the excursion. Before setting off, we will have a short lesson on land to learn the basic techniques of driving a Canadian canoe and the main safety manoeuvres.
We will then board the double, triple or quadruple canoes and begin our exploration along a circular route of about 6 km. Paddling at a leisurely pace, we will exit a branch of the Stella river and enter the lagoon, surrounded by reeds, water birds and pristine landscapes.
Halfway along we will reach the charming village of Casoni, fishermen's huts built entirely from natural materials. The guide will give us a naturalistic presentation and tell the history of these structures.
On the way back, we will also visit the Bilancia di Bepi, a historic pile-dwelling used by fishermen as a shelter during traditional fishing with the bilancione and now transformed into an ichthyotourism structure.
The activity will last a total of 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 8 and up. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Good water skills and confidence are required, although it is not necessary to be able to swim perfectly.
The maximum weight per participant is 120 kg.
Other information
The activity takes place from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum of four participants.
Double, triple and one quadruple Canadian canoes are available.
There are no changing rooms or showers at the meeting point, but the toilet facilities at Bepi's Libra can be used. Personal belongings can be stored in the watertight bag.
It is possible to participate with your own dog, provided it is well trained.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
