Full description
Enjoy a wonderful canoe trip on Lake Cavedine, nestled in the stunning setting of the Sarca glacial valley in Trentino Alto Adige.
On the sheet of water nestled between the mountains, a qualified instructor will teach you the basic techniques of canoeing and then guide you on a tour of the lake, where the Dolomite peaks, the pure air of the valley and the regenerating nature of an unspoilt environment will be the stars.
It will be an experience in direct contact with the natural element, also suitable for children, who will be able to enjoy a new water sport, experience the joys of the mountains and have fun learning how to light a fire with a tinder box at the end of the canoe tour, always in complete safety and under the supervision of the instructor.
What we will do
We will meet along Lake Cavedine, in the province of Trento. After meeting theinstructor, the experience will begin with a theory lesson to learn the correct paddle techniques. Having learned the basics and donned a life jacket, we will be able to tackle the tour of the lake.
A wonderful panorama will unfold around us, dominated by the body of water and the mountains that create a veritable 'belt' around the lake. Paddling in tranquillity, we will admire nature, practise the techniques we have just learnt, and the gentle sound of the water moved by our paddles will be the background to this reconciling experience.
When we get back to shore, weather permitting, the instructor will teach us how to light a fire with a tinder box, bringing a touch of adventure to our activity!
We will spend about an hour and a half together, and we can end on a high note by going all together to eat at theOsteria da Gio Lago di Cavedine, to discover how in these places - in addition to nature, sport and views - the cuisine is also not to be missed (lunch is optional, it is not included in the activity, and participants will be given a discounted price).
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level. No previous experience is required and it is also open to children aged 5 and up, accompanied by an adult.

Attention. It is necessary to arrive at least 15 minutes before the time chosen for the activity.
The activity is bookable from April to October, subject to weather and instructor availability, and will be confirmed when at least 2 participants are reached.
Changing rooms and safety lockers can be used at the canoe centre.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
