Full description
You will have happened to visit the Borromean Islands. And on reaching them by motorboat, you will have noticed a group of people in a canoe.
That's us! You too can be part of it by taking part in our canoe tour: leaving from Stresa or Baveno, you will paddle toIsola Bella until you reachIsola dei Pescatori for a guided walk.
A3-hour experience, navigating the waters of Lake Maggiore.
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before 09:30 at the meeting point in Stresa or Baveno (VB). We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on this canoeing adventure on Lake Maggiore!
Once all the participants have gathered, a briefing lasting about 15 minutes will take place during which we will be given all the information we need to carry out the experience. We will then board our Canadian canoe, a boat with 3 passenger seats and 1 seat for the guide.
Ready to paddle in the waters of Lake Maggiore, we will skirtIsola Bella and pass by the Scoglio della Malghera. We will then reachIsola dei Pescatori (Fishermen's Island), on which we will land for a walking tour: we will stroll through the characteristic alleys and visit the Fishing Museum, listening to the guide's stories. During the 30-minute shore break , we will also have time to refresh ourselves with an ice cream or an aperitif (not included) at our leisure.
We will return on board the canoe and finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 6 and up; children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
It is not necessary to know how to swim to participate in the activity.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for first-time canoeists.

The duration of the excursion may vary depending on the number and experience level of the participants.
The meeting point will be in Stresa or Baveno at the guide's discretion; the options are approximately 8 minutes' drive apart. Contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail for more information on the meeting point.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Dogs may participate in the experience; a maximum of 1 dog per canoe is permitted. Small dogs can participate free of charge, while medium to large dogs will incur an additional charge of €35.00; please contact us to make a reservation.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
